Every great story starts with a first page and this is ours. Raven Lane Press was born from a simple idea: that powerful stories deserve professional publishing, no matter where they come from. We’re a new kind of press, combining the creative independence of self-publishing with the quality and care of traditional publishing. In other words, we believe in partnership — not gatekeeping.

Our focus is on authors who live and write in the darker corners of fiction: mystery, thriller, horror, and true crime. These are the stories that make readers stay up too late, turn one more page, and think twice about the shadows in the corner. We know those stories matter — and we’re here to help bring them into the world with the respect, design, and editorial attention they deserve.  

We’re also proud to share that Raven Lane Press is a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA). Joining the IBPA connects us to a network of publishers and industry professionals committed to excellence, ethics, and innovation in independent publishing. It’s an exciting step that helps us serve our authors — and their readers — with even greater expertise and integrity.
