As the founder of a publishing house dedicated to mystery, thriller, horror, and true crime, Vancise champions bold, boundary‑pushing voices that redefine what it means to be truly captivated. Her vision is guided by a belief that the most haunting stories are not just read they’re felt, lingering in the reader’s mind long after the final page.

As the founder of Raven Lane Press, I’ve always been drawn to the stories that others look past. My passion for mystery and true crime is rooted in a desire for justice and revelation. That same desire led me to explore the ‘Light’ side of storytelling—books like Cry of an Osprey and works of spiritual healing. I believe that once we confront the dark, we have a responsibility to provide a path toward the light. Raven Lane is the bridge between those two journeys.
Raven Lane Press was born from a simple but deeply personal belief: stories matter, especially the ones that are difficult to tell.
As an author, I have stood where you stand. I know what it feels like to place your work, and your trust into someone else’s hands. I also know how important it is to feel aligned with the people you’re working with: their values, their integrity, and their respect for the story itself.
Raven Lane Press is a small, independent press founded with intention. We publish select works of mystery, thriller, psychological suspense, and horror stories that linger, unsettle, and ask questions rather than offer easy answers.
